Gutierrez’s contract with Girona is set to last until 2027, and he currently earns around £280,000 annually. Interestingly, Real Madrid holds a buy-back option for Gutierrez this summer, priced at a modest 8 million euros, as reported by Cadena Ser. The Express indicates that Real Madrid intends to activate this clause but has already arranged to sell Gutierrez to Manchester United for £34 million. United are in the market for a replacement for Luke Shaw.

In the last season, Gutierrez showcased his skills both defensively and offensively.
