Regretfully, after signing Two Years Contract, this is how Kentucky lost 2-star…

TRAUMA: This Is How Kentucky Loses in the FourthGEORGETOWN – On Friday, four-star center Malachi Moreno of Great Crossing High School committed to the Kentucky Wildcats, giving first-year head coach Mark Pope access to his first recruit class of 2025 freshmen and his first top-25 prospect of his coaching tenure.

Out of a final list that included Kentucky, Notre Dame, Indiana, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio State, and the Arkansas Razorbacks, led by former Kentucky head coach John Calipari, Moreno chose UK, which is only 15 miles from his high school.

“It’s been my dream school since I was a little kid,” Moreno said to Travis Branham of 247sports. It felt right—just the coaching staff, the play calling, and the location of Kentucky. God seemed to be guiding me in.
