JUST IN: Oscar Tshiebwe and the Utah Jazz agree to a two-way contract Worth $78.8Million….

Oscar Tshiebwe, a former basketball player for the Kentucky Wildcats, has moved to the NBA. With a two-way contract signed with the Utah Jazz, the 2022 Naismith Men’s College Basketball Player of the Year is headed to the Western Conference after beginning his professional career with the Indiana Pacers and their G League affiliate, the Indiana Mad Ants.

During his debut season in the NBA, Tshiebwe made only eight appearances. He would play in just 5.3 minutes per game for the Pacers, averaging just 3.3 points and 2.0 rebounds. Tshiebwe, though, was a shining star in the G League. The former Wildcat saw play in 27.2 minutes per game, averaging 16.2 points, 16.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. He started 21 of the 23 games that he appeared in for the Mad Ants. Tshiebwe received the Kia NBA G League Rookie of the Year award and was named to the first team of the NBA G League for his performance.
