BREAKING UPDATE✅✅: Instead Of Ben Chilwell Or Alphonso Davies, Arsenal Told To Increase Their Initial £30m Bid To £50M So They Can Sign World No. 1 Left Back
Arsenal have been encouraged to sign one star who has impressed at the 2024 European Championships this summer. Mikel Arteta’s side have so far been their frustrated in their pursuit of a new striker this summer.
RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko was Arsenal’s top target for a forward addition this summer but the Slovenian striker decided to remain in Germany and sign a new deal, but there is a release clause inserted into the forward’s contract which becomes active in 2025.
They have also been frustrated in their chase of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi with the Gunners ready to move onto different midfield targets, as HITC have reported that there is a belief that the midfielder prefers a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid.
One area of the pitch that Arsenal probably do not need to strengthen is their defence with the Gunners having a superb defensive record last season.
However, one star of the 2024 European Championship has been Fenerbahce and Turkey defender Ferdi Kadioglu. HITC reported back in January that the Gunners were doing their homework on the wing-back ahead of a possible move mid-season but a deal never materialized.
The fee then was understood to be just £17 million but after his performances for his national team, this is surely set to increase that figure
Turkish football commentator Fathi Dogan, speaking to Ajansspor, believe Arsenal have to buy the wing-back ‘immediately’.
“The Arsenal team, which came to follow Ferdi, the best left-back of the tournament, yesterday, should give a report of: Let’s give €50m and buy him immediately,” said Doğan.
Arsenal’s need for a left-back could be Kadioglu deal is revived
The future of Ukranian left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko is currently unclear whilst Jakub Kiwior has been linked with a move to AC Milan.
A new left-back may well be sought after and Kadioglu, who can play on the left side of defence, makes a lot of sense and has an outstanding tournament for Turkey.
Kadioglu made 41 appearances for Fenerbahce last season, scoring three times for the Turkish giants. He has a contract at the club until 2026
