Confirming the leak, Aston Villa’s new crest was revealed today. The new design replaces the round crest worn on Villa’s 23-24 shirts, which was just launched in 2023.
The new Aston Villa 2024 logo has a shield-shaped badge with a yellow lion and the club’s name written out in full.
Indeed, the new Aston Villa logo is somehow a stuffed version of the 2016 to 2023 crest. It has the exact same yellow lion as the crest from 2016 to 2023. However, instead of the AVFC, it now comes with the full club name and the founding year, plus new colors for the border.
The new badge is understood to have been presented at a recent meeting of the club’s fan advisory board. However, some members of the FAB have raised concerns that the club has not conducted sufficient consultation.
