BREAKING✅✅: “Please Don’t Sell Him, He Is The New Harry Kane” Arteta Tells 21year Old Academy Graduate He Will Be Sold After Arsenal Received £27M Bid From UCL Rivals
Arsenal are in dire need of a striker to increase their goal tally for the upcoming season, they are in the market for the likes of Viktor Gyekores, Osimhen, Sesko, Toney and Zirkzee but they could be looking for the solution to their goal scoring problems in the wrong place.
The gunners have a striker in their ranks with abilities like Harry Kane but the clubs hierarchy is looking to offload him.
Arsenal want to sell Mika Biereth this summer as he is in the last year of his contract, according to Sturm Graz sporting director Andreas Schicker.
The Denmark youth international spent the second half of 2023-24 on loan in the Austrian Bundesliga with Sturm, bagging nine goals and four assists in 22 appearances.
Biereth was in the Scottish Premiership with Motherwell before his move to the Austrian top-flight, ending his time there with six goals and five assists in 15 games.
However, his heroics have not earned him a place in the plans of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta ahead of next season, and he is expected to be sold.
“Mika is in the last year of his contract, the club wants to sell him,” Schicker told Austrian outlet Kronen Zeitung.
“Now we need to find a solution with Arsenal.”
The 21-year-old joined Arsenal from Fulham as a youth player in July 2021 after notching 21 goals in 21 games for their under-18s during his final season but has yet to make his first-team debut and is unlikely to do so.
He wants to join Sturm and will fancy his chances of securing a big move going forward if he keeps impressing.
Championship club Sheffield Wednesday are also interested in recruiting his services but a move to the Austrian Bundesliga champions will be more appealing as they are also offering European football.
Biereth recently dubbed himself a lower-version hybrid of Erling Haaland and Harry Kane, admitting he dreams of scoring regularly for Arsenal going forward.
He was named in the matchday squad four times in his debut season but has spent the last two seasons out on loan at three different clubs and will hope to finally earn a permanent move away from the North London club so as to settle down
