Barcelona Manager Hansi Flick has announced Very Sad news for Defender Ronald Araujo after he was subbed off during a Copa America Game
Ronald Araujo might not be able to play for Barcelona again for the whole year because of an illness.
The Uruguayan goalkeeper had a breakdown while his country was playing in the Copa America.
Based on the original estimates, Araujo would be out for 4 to 6 weeks due to a leg injury.
At least four months will pass, though, because Araujo will need surgery to fix the damage.
He will have surgery in Finland this week, Barcelona said Monday afternoon, confirming the injury.
