KUALA TERENGGANU: Terengganu have denied rumours that goalkeeper Rahadiazli Rahalim (pic) will move to another club next season.

Their chief executive officer Mohd Sabri Abas said the Turtles have no plans to release the national under-23 squad goalkeeper to any other club, despite various speculations circulating on social media.

He said the young Kuala Terengganu-born goalkeeper still has a contract with Terengganu until 2025, and no negotiations have been made by any club to acquire the player’s services.

“Rahadiazli will remain with us next season. Transfer reports are just rumours and common end-of-season stories,” he said when contacted by Bernama.

The year 2023 was a rather bleak season for Rahadiazli, as he only appeared in seven games with 630 minutes played in the Super League.

He also only played for 90 minutes in the FA Cup before playing 90 minutes in the Malaysia Cup campaign.

With his physical attributes, Rahadiazli has the complete package to become the best goalkeeper, but unfortunately, he has been plagued by injury problems.
